Starcloud-3

Starcloud's next-generation spacecraft, to be built at a new factory in Woodinville, Washington, as building blocks for a planned constellation of orbital data centers.

Why it matters

This is the step from demo satellites to a production line. Starcloud's case for orbital data centers depends on building many of these cheaply and launching them often.

How the technology works

Starcloud has not published detailed specs; its site describes it as processing data from mobile devices on an orbital GPU network. Its 2026 funding pays for Starcloud-3 development, engineering work with Nvidia and a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
