About and sources
NewSpace Atlas is a map of the space economy, drawn from the ground up. Each company and product sits at the altitude where it does its work, explained in plain words, with the source and date behind every fact.
How we source facts
Every funding round, award, milestone and team member on this site cites a public source, shown with its publication date. Where a fact is the company’s own statement, the page says so. Estimates are labeled. Anything we cannot source is left out. A person approves each record before it is published, and every page shows when it was last reviewed.
A company is shown as raising only when a dated source from the last 120 days says a round is open. The tag drops off by itself after that unless it is confirmed again.
Sources and licenses
Facts come from company websites and filings, SEC EDGAR, government award databases, and press releases, cited on each page. To find company names we used the New Space Tracker open dataset, version 2026-10-07 (newspacetracker.com/data), licensed CC BY 4.0. Every fact was then re-sourced from primary sources.
Company logos are trademarks of their owners and appear only to identify the company.
Suggest a correction
If a fact about your company is wrong or out of date, use “Suggest a correction” at the end of its page. It opens a short form that goes to a person; nothing changes on the site until they have checked it against a public source.
Privacy and terms
There are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. The site stores nothing about you on our servers. The “Add a company” form saves a draft on your own device while you type, and sends it to the publisher only when you press Send for review. If you give an email address, it is used only to ask about that submission and is never shown on the site. Explainer videos play through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube loads only after you press Play.
