IrriWatch
Irrigation advice software that turns satellite data into daily field-by-field water recommendations for growers.
Why it matters
It is how Hydrosat sells its satellite data to farmers: as a plain irrigation plan, not raw imagery. Hydrosat says IrriWatch has more than 90 customers in over 70 countries.
How the technology works
IrriWatch feeds satellite imagery, much of it thermal data from government satellites plus Hydrosat's own thermal sensors, into algorithms that estimate leaf and soil temperature, soil moisture, water use and crop production, then sends farmers daily irrigation updates.
