DeepSky

Tomorrow.io's planned next fleet of weather satellites, each carrying several kinds of sensors, meant to observe the atmosphere more often and cover places with little data.

Why it matters

Watching the atmosphere more often, especially over data-sparse regions, can give forecasters earlier signs of storms and floods.

How the technology works

Tomorrow.io describes DeepSky as a low Earth orbit constellation of multi-sensor satellites designed to raise revisit rates and improve coverage in data-sparse regions. It raised $175 million in February 2026 to deploy it and has not given a satellite count.
