REV1

Planned reusable cargo spacecraft carrying up to one tonne of payload in orbit and returning heavy cargo to Earth, targeted for 2029.

Why it matters

Owning a reusable return vehicle would let Space Cargo Unlimited schedule its own production runs instead of buying space on others' flights.

How the technology works

REV1 is designed to host BentoBox factories and bring products back through reentry, with BentoBox runs on it planned from 2030. The company began developing it with Thales Alenia Space in late 2022.
