MultiScape and TriScape

Simera Sense's 8-band multispectral (MultiScape) and color snapshot and video (TriScape) cameras for small Earth observation satellites.

Why it matters

Cameras are the main sensor on small imaging satellites. Buying flight-proven optics from a specialist supplier lowers the cost and risk of starting an imaging fleet.

How the technology works

The cameras come in three size ranges: xScape50 (1U, about 30 m resolution), xScape100 (1.5U, 4.75 m) and xScape200 Dual-Use (12U, 1.5 m). Simera Sense also sells imager electronics and image-processing software, and is developing a larger xScape350 optical system with IDOM.
