Borealis
A planned medium-lift rocket designed to carry 6 tonnes to low Earth orbit, with a first launch targeted for 2031 and up to 24 missions a year after that.
Why it matters
It would give Canada a rocket big enough for larger government and constellation satellites, not just small ones.
How the technology works
Borealis draws on the company's work with storable propellants and catalytic ignition. Stage count and launch site have not been published.
