Gravity-2
Orienspace's next rocket: a 70 m kerosene-fueled launcher meant to lift about 21.5 tonnes to low Earth orbit, with a first stage that is recovered and reused.
Why it matters
It would move Orienspace from mid-sized solid rockets into the heavy-lift class needed to deploy large constellations, and add another reusable option in China.
How the technology works
Nine Yuanli-110 kerosene and liquid-oxygen engines power a 4.2 m core stage that is designed to be recovered. One vacuum version of the same engine drives the second stage.
The fairing is 5.2 m wide.
