OKAPI:Aether

OKAPI's collision-avoidance service that screens a fleet against everything else in orbit and helps plan maneuvers when a close approach is found.

Why it matters

Operators get many collision warnings, and most do not need a maneuver. Automated screening helps them move only when the risk is real, which saves propellant and extends the mission.

How the technology works

Aether screens customer satellites for close approaches using OKAPI's own independent orbit catalog plus other tracking data and the operator's own orbit data, filters the warnings down to events that need a decision, and produces maneuver advice. OKAPI offers its platform as a cloud service hosted in Germany or installed on the customer's premises.
