Atlantic Spaceport Complex

NordSpace's launch site in Newfoundland and Labrador, with pads for suborbital, light and medium rockets. It was released from environmental assessment in December 2025.

Why it matters

A rocket company that owns its spaceport controls its own schedule, and Canada's defense department has signed up for priority pad access.

How the technology works

Pad 2A at launch complex SLC-02, built in Phase 1, hosts the suborbital Taiga. Phase 2 adds a six km access road at SLC-01 for Tundra and the larger Tempest.

In August 2026 the site drew 10 million dollars: 5 million in government funding and 5 million from NordSpace.
