Rideshare launch integration and mission management

An end-to-end service that buys launch capacity for small satellites, mostly on SpaceX rideshare flights, then tests, processes and integrates each spacecraft and manages it through launch.

Why it matters

University teams, startups and NASA CubeSat programs often lack launch experience. Maverick takes on the procurement and integration work, and its staff say they have launched more than 500 satellites across 14 rocket types.

How the technology works

Maverick procures slots, runs vibration testing and pre-launch payload processing at its San Luis Obispo facility, and handles launch-site integration. It has flown customers on SpaceX rideshare missions since Transporter-1, reports more than 21,000 kg launched through 2026 and about 79,000 kg contracted through 2028, and books customers on Portal Space Systems' 2028 Falcon 9 mission.
