KSATlite

KSAT's automated ground station service for small satellites and large constellations, letting operators download data and send commands without building their own antennas.

Why it matters

Small satellite companies rarely want to own antennas around the world. Renting time on a shared global network lets them get data down often and start operating sooner. KSAT says more than 150 operators use it.

How the technology works

Customers schedule passes through an API or a web portal. KSAT says the network has 26 stations and more than 150 antennas of 3.7 to 6.1 meters, working in S-band, X-band and Ka-band, and relays data to the customer's systems.
