Gravitas is the proof that K2's high-power design works in orbit, which its production ramp and customer contracts depend on.
How the technology works
The spacecraft tests K2's high-voltage power system, large solar arrays and a 20 kW electric thruster while hosting customer payloads. It was backed in part by a U.S.
Space Force contract.
