OW7MP manpack
Backpack-sized terminal that lets military and government teams connect to the OneWeb low-orbit network on front lines, in disaster zones and on remote missions.
Why it matters
Front-line and disaster teams often lose phone and radio links. A portable low-orbit terminal gives them fast, low-delay connectivity that is harder to disrupt than older systems.
How the technology works
The terminal fits in a standard military rucksack, finds the network with one touch, and can operate without GPS. Intellian developed it with Eutelsat, which offers it to government and defense customers.
