Eclipse

A reusable medium rocket co-developed with Northrop Grumman, meant to carry about 16 tonnes to low orbit.

Why it matters

It would add another US medium-lift rocket for national security and constellation launches, an area where buyers have few choices.

How the technology works

Eclipse is a scaled-up, reusable descendant of Alpha. Its first stage uses Firefly's Miranda engines, which had passed 150 hot-fire tests by mid-2026.
