Dorado
A small sounding rocket meant to carry 20 kg of experiments to 100 km for about three minutes of microgravity, shipped fully inert to any range.
Why it matters
It gives researchers a short trip to space and gives the company flight data for its larger orbital rocket.
How the technology works
Dorado uses the same HTP/HRF-1 hybrid engine as Volans. The payload bay holds 41 liters, 0.74 m long and 0.27 m wide.
