EOSDA Crop Monitoring
Web software that tracks crop health, field conditions and weather through the growing season using satellite imagery.
Why it matters
Farmers, insurers and lenders can spot trouble in a field without driving to it, and decide where to scout, irrigate or fertilize.
How the technology works
Satellite images are turned into vegetation indexes for each field and combined with weather forecasts and history, with risk alerts when conditions change. EOSDA also offers LandViewer for searching and analyzing imagery in the browser.
