Cascade Designer
Software for designing and simulating a spacecraft's radio link, from shared link budgets to whole-trajectory analysis, in one place.
Why it matters
Radio link design is usually done in spreadsheets and scattered tools, and mistakes show up late. A single design platform can shorten the path from concept to a working satellite link.
How the technology works
Engineers build the communications chain in a drag-and-drop editor from generic and vendor parts, such as antennas with their 3D patterns, and get power, noise and margin at each block. An API runs whole mission trajectories in one call.
It is built on spacelink, Cascade's open-source Python library.
