Kinetica-2

CAS Space's liquid-fueled rocket, rated for about 12 tonnes to low Earth orbit. It reached orbit on its first flight in March 2026 carrying a prototype cargo spacecraft.

Why it matters

It moves CAS Space from small solid rockets into the medium class, aimed at launching satellite constellations in batches and low-cost cargo missions.

How the technology works

Three identical kerosene and liquid-oxygen cores sit side by side, one central stage with two boosters, with nine first-stage engines and one second-stage engine. CAS Space rates the design for reuse more than 20 times and plans versions with zero to four boosters.
