Spacecraft thrusters (DS250, LE144, M4 and others)

A catalog of hydrazine-family rocket thrusters, from small attitude-control units to main engines, that Agile designs, tests and sells to spacecraft, capsule and lander builders.

Why it matters

Spacecraft, capsules and landers need small, reliable thrusters to steer and change orbit. Agile's customers include capsule maker The Exploration Company and the Space Force's VICTUS HAZE mission, and it says more than 90 of its thrusters have gone to commercial LEO and lunar lander programs.

How the technology works

The engines burn hydrazine-based fuels with an oxidizer such as MON3, and are radiatively cooled with fast solenoid valves for both steady burns and short pulses. Agile qualifies them in its own vacuum hot-fire stands in Durango.

For The Exploration Company it designed and hot-fired a first 250-newton DS250 unit in 10 weeks.
