Advanced Space

Colorado mission-design and navigation company that owns and flew CAPSTONE, the small NASA-backed spacecraft that pioneered the lunar orbit planned for Artemis. It is now building CAPSTONE 02 and a cislunar tracking satellite for the Air Force.

The founding team began work in 2010, formally set up the company as Geryon Space Technologies in 2011, and created Advanced Space, LLC in 2013. No outside funding round is public; the company says its founders personally funded the start.
