BRO Gen 2
Unseenlabs' larger second-generation satellites, which listen across more radio bands so they can track radio activity on land and in space, not only ships at sea.
Why it matters
Gen 2 widens Unseenlabs from maritime monitoring toward land and space uses, the kind of signals intelligence that governments, including France's, now buy from commercial operators.
How the technology works
BRO Gen 2 microsatellites cover the L, S, C and X radio bands, which opens uses such as spectrum and interference monitoring and watching defense systems. Gen 1 stays focused on maritime work, so the two generations fly side by side.
The first Gen 2 satellite, BRO-31, launched on 7 July 2026 on Transporter-17, and BRO-32 followed on 1 October 2026.
