LizzieSat

Sidus Space's multi-mission small satellite that carries customer payloads alongside its own cameras and edge-computing hardware.

Why it matters

Hosting several customers' sensors on one satellite spreads the launch and build cost, so smaller customers can get data from orbit without their own spacecraft.

How the technology works

LizzieSat is a partly 3D-printed satellite bus that combines customer payloads with its own power, communications, navigation and computing, including onboard AI and edge-computing hardware. Sidus lists payload options such as visual, infrared and hyperspectral cameras, lidar and radar.

The first LizzieSat was set to launch on SpaceX's Transporter-10 on March 4, 2024.
