SpaceSight

Scout Space's planning tool that shows satellite operators when one spacecraft will be able to photograph another, sold through Saber Astronautics' Space Application Marketplace.

Why it matters

Inspecting another satellite from orbit takes careful timing. A tool that predicts those imaging chances, and previews the picture, helps operators plan inspection and monitoring passes.

How the technology works

Users pick an inspector spacecraft, a target and camera settings. SpaceSight then renders synthetic images of the target based on both orbits at the moment of closest approach.

It is offered on Saber Astronautics' Space Application Marketplace (SAM), which the U.S. Space Force funds and which runs on Saber's Space Cockpit software.
