Octopus ISR and optics payloads

Infrared and visible-light camera payloads that Redwire builds for crewed and uncrewed surveillance platforms.

Why it matters

This is a sizable non-space product line for Redwire: it delivered nearly 200 Octopus payloads in the first half of 2026, more than 15% more than a year earlier.

How the technology works

The line pairs long-wave or mid-wave infrared sensors with full HD visible cameras, with zoom, tracking and stabilization on some models. In 2026 Redwire launched two new mid-wave infrared models, the E140 and E180 HD.
