Point One RTK Network and Location Cloud
A network of ground reference stations plus a cloud API that sends correction data to devices so they can turn GPS and other satellite signals into centimeter-level positions.
Why it matters
Autonomous cars, delivery robots and farm machines need to know where they are to a few centimeters, and raw satellite navigation is off by meters. A shared correction network lets device makers get that accuracy through one API instead of building their own base stations.
How the technology works
Fixed reference stations at known positions measure how far the incoming navigation satellite signals are off and stream corrections, a method called real-time kinematic (RTK). Point One's Location Cloud delivers those corrections plus telemetry through one GraphQL API, and its Positioning Engine fuses satellite, sensor and motion data on the device.
Point One says coverage spans North America, Europe and Asia.
