Daytona
A small launcher for CubeSats up to ESPA-class satellites, with a 1.4-meter payload fairing. Not yet flown.
Why it matters
Small satellite operators often ride along on big rockets to orbits that don't suit them. A dedicated small rocket lets them pick their own orbit and schedule.
How the technology works
Daytona is a small orbital rocket meant to place one customer's satellites directly in the orbit they want. Phantom also builds modular satellites, so a customer can buy spacecraft and launch together.
