Pyramid on the Moon
A small archive that landed on the Moon in 2025 holding a seed bank, human and pet DNA, a cultural archive and space art.
Why it matters
It is an early example of consumer-funded payloads riding on commercial Moon landers, where customers pay to send personal material rather than science instruments.
How the technology works
Customers buy a place for their DNA, or their pet's, which LifeShip packs with seeds, art and records into a small pyramid-shaped monument. The monument rode to the Moon on Firefly's Blue Ghost lander.
