Kepler hosted payloads
A service that lets customers fly their own sensors or software on Kepler's satellites, with network connectivity and onboard computing included.
Why it matters
Building and launching a dedicated satellite takes years and a large budget. Riding on an existing relay satellite lets a customer get a sensor into orbit and its data down quickly.
How the technology works
Customer payloads are integrated onto Kepler spacecraft, draw power and computing from the host, and send data across Kepler's optical relay network to the ground.
