Satcat (with Pathfinder)
Online platform that tracks tens of thousands of satellites and debris pieces, warns operators about possible collisions, and helps them plan and coordinate avoidance maneuvers.
Why it matters
Low Earth orbit is getting crowded, and two operators facing a close approach often have no quick way to agree on who moves. Automated warnings and operator-to-operator coordination lower the chance of a collision that creates more debris.
How the technology works
Satcat pulls orbit data from more than a dozen public sources into one catalog. The Pathfinder tools, folded into Satcat in 2025, run conjunction risk checks, plan avoidance burns and pass coordination messages between operators.
Kayhan offers a free public tier and paid tiers.
