VEDA

A planned servicing spacecraft that would dock with satellites already in orbit to extend their working lives, including by refueling them.

Why it matters

Satellites are often retired because they run out of fuel while the rest of the hardware still works. A servicer that can dock and top them up turns a write-off into more years of revenue.

How the technology works

VEDA combines InspeCity's building blocks: GITA green-propellant thrusters for moving around, CHAKSU sensors for navigation and close approach, RAMA robotic arms, and SPARSH for docking and propellant transfer. The company plans four in-orbit missions within 12 to 18 months of its August 2026 raise to qualify these parts.
