STORM V3
Ruggedized, transportable terminal that packages Starlink or Starshield low-orbit service for vehicles and field sites, priced around USD 30,000.
Why it matters
Commercial low-orbit broadband is fast but its consumer hardware is not built for combat or disaster zones. A hardened terminal brings it to units in the field.
How the technology works
STORM V3 wraps a Ku-band low-orbit terminal in a case built to MIL-STD-810G and IP68, adds one-button setup and SD-WAN routing across several networks, and delivers up to 200 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up. SpaceNews put its weight at about 30 pounds.
