Unified Data Library (UDL)
A cloud repository, developed by Bluestaq for the U.S. Space Force, that pools tracking data on space objects from military, intelligence, commercial and foreign sources.
Why it matters
Tracking data used to sit in separate, incompatible systems. One shared library lets the Space Force and its allies combine sensors and buy commercial data in one place.
How the technology works
Data providers publish observations and products into the UDL, and authorized users query them through APIs or buy them through a storefront. In 2021 Bluestaq said it served about 3,500 users in 25 countries.
