Astrocast satellite network for devices
Nanosatellite network for two-way IoT messaging that lets remote equipment send and receive small data packets through Astronode modules, with delivery acknowledgments.
Why it matters
Remote assets in farming, shipping, utilities and mining often have no cell coverage. Low-cost, low-power modules make it affordable to connect equipment that only needs to send a few messages a day.
How the technology works
Devices fitted with an Astronode S or S+ module and a small patch antenna send messages to Astrocast's nanosatellites as they pass overhead. The network supports two-way messaging with acknowledgments.
Developer kits are sold for testing before deployment.
