ArkEdge's standard multipurpose 6U small satellite bus, built in volume and used for imaging, communications, navigation tests and hosted payloads.
Why it matters
A standard small bus built in volume lets customers fly missions quickly and cheaply. One ArkEdge-built 6U, ONGLAISAT, co-developed with Taiwan's space agency, reached 2.44 m ground resolution.
How the technology works
The same 6U platform is fitted with different payloads, such as cameras, IoT and maritime (VDES) radios, optical communications or navigation equipment. ArkEdge says it handles planning, design, mass production and operation of these satellites.
