Chiron
A small, rideshare-size version of Argo's water-powered spacecraft that hosts or drops off payloads and can maneuver from low orbit out to cislunar space.
Why it matters
Argo says Chiron already has U.S. government payloads booked on two 2027 launches, which would make it the company's first contracted flights.
How the technology works
Chiron uses the same water electrolysis propulsion and thermal system as Argo's larger vehicles in a smaller package. Argo quotes 2,000 to 4,200 m/s of high-thrust delta-v per tank before refueling.
