Hydra MAX
ALL.SPACE's newest Ka-band terminal, which keeps several satellite links open at the same time, on different orbits if needed, for defense users on the move.
Why it matters
Terminals that switch between networks can drop the link while doing so. Holding several links at once keeps data flowing in jammed or contested conditions.
How the technology works
Electronically steered beams with no moving parts track satellites in LEO, MEO, GEO or HEO while moving, with up to 500 MHz of bandwidth per Ka beam (1 GHz aggregate). It is certified on SES O3b mPOWER, with certification in progress on WGS, Viasat, Amazon Leo and Telesat Lightspeed.
