Aldoria optical tracking network
Aldoria's own telescope stations around the world that observe satellites and debris and feed its collision-risk and surveillance services.
Why it matters
Operators need accurate positions of debris and other satellites to avoid collisions, and Europe wants its own ability to observe and catalog objects in orbit.
How the technology works
Aldoria's own telescope stations, which it says span four continents, observe objects in all orbits, and its software combines those observations with other sources into orbits, conjunction alerts and surveillance reports. In January 2024 the company ran six stations.
