Albedo VLEO platform
Albedo's spacecraft design for very low Earth orbit, which it calls the only flight-proven platform for that altitude and is carrying into its next mission.
Why it matters
Very low orbit offers sharper imaging and lower-latency links but is hard to survive in. A proven platform could let Albedo serve national security and infrastructure customers beyond imaging.
How the technology works
The platform's bus flew on Clarity-1. Albedo says its next very low orbit mission will add an in-house radio and new flight software, avionics and power systems, and will show features beyond imaging.
