NxN-ECM edge computer

A half-unit space computer built on an NVIDIA Orin module that runs AI and other software on board a satellite. It has flown on Aethero's Deimos and Phobos missions.

Why it matters

Imaging satellites gather far more data than they can downlink. Processing it in orbit means only the useful results come down, faster and with less ground-station time.

How the technology works

The module wraps a commercial NVIDIA Jetson Orin chip in boards, shielding and fault handling designed for radiation and temperature swings. It runs containerized customer software that can be updated over the air.

Aethero says Phobos, launched in March 2026, delivers 157 TOPS around the clock.
